I’m Catherine, child psychologist, parenting coach, university lecturer, media contributor, mother-of-five and unshakable optimist dedicated to helping you become the parent you always wanted to be.

I show parents how to use the power of relationship and connection to address their parenting challenges, create more peace and harmony in their homes and help their children become more confident and resilient.

I’m a psychology geek who reads obsessively about parenting. I take the latest child-development research and translate it into practical strategies to help parents address parenting challenges and create the family lives they want.

I’m a Chartered Member of the Psychological Society of Ireland which signifies the highest level of academic achievement as a psychologist. Simply put, this means I’m qualified to do what I do. I make frequent media appearances and I regularly contribute to 96fm.

I was born and raised in Cork, Ireland, with a few detours along the way to travel. I now live just outside Cork City with my husband, five young children and my million-dollar cat, Tiger. And, before you ask, yes I do have my hands (and heart) full!

    I d like to inquire regarding psychological assessment s on children . We have a 3 year old, 4 in April with severe speech delay . She’s very sociable. A psychological assessment won’t be done until this time next year. We would however like one done prior to this for ourselves. Do you do it on this age group?
